Things to Do in Canary Islands

How reviews work

We do not buy reviews, we do not ask anyone who has not booked, and we give no discounts or gifts in exchange for writing one.

Yes, we verify every review.

Only someone who booked the experience on this site and went on it can write a review. After the activity we email them a personal link; that link works once and is tied to their booking. There is no other way to write here.

We ask everyone.

The day after the activity, every customer alike, with the same message. We do not choose who to ask.

We publish all of them, good and bad.

We read them before publishing, usually within 72 hours. We only take a review down if it insults someone, includes personal details of another person, talks about something other than the activity, or is advertising. The rating is never a reason to take it down. When we take one down, we explain why by email to whoever wrote it.

The average rating

It is the average of every published review of this experience, recalculated each time we publish or take one down. Search-engine stars do not switch on until the third review: with one or two, the average means nothing. We show reviews in the language they were written in, untranslated.

We sign with the first name and the initial of the surname.

We never publish surnames, phone numbers or email addresses. If you would rather your review was signed as a verified traveller, or taken down, write to us and we will do it.

The company running the activity can reply in public, but cannot edit, hide or delete any review.

That is our decision, with the criteria above.
